ENACTMENT NO. 4 OF 1989 ADMINISTRATION OF MUSLIM LAW (SIXTH AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1988
Section 4. Amendment of section 55.
Section 55 of the Administration of Muslim Law Enactment 1962 is hereby amended:
(a) by substituting the word "President" in line 2 in sub-section (1) the words "State Legal Adviser, Kedah Darulaman";
(b) by substituting the words "Chief Prosecutor" in line 2 in sub-section (1) the words "Pengarah Pendakwa";
(c) by substituting the words "resolution of the Majlis sanctioning such prosecution and a certified copy of such resolution shall" in line 4 in sub-section (2) the words "written sanction by the Pengarah Pendakwa";
(d) by substituting the words "certified copy" in line 8 in sub-section (2) the words "written sanction ";
(e) by substituting the word "President" in line 2 in sub-section (3) the words "Pengarah Pendakwa";
(f) by substituting the words "Majlis or the President" in line 1 in sub-section (4) the words "Pengarah Pendakwa".
