Section 39. Appointment of Mufti.

(1) His Highness the Sultan in Council may appoint a fit and proper person to be Mufti of the State of Selangor.

(2) The Mufti shaIl be ex officio a Member of the Majlis and shall not be subject to the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 13 of this Enactment.
