Section 17. Temporary appointments.
In the event of the temporary absence or incapacity of any Member of, or the Secretary to, the Majlis, His Highness the Sultan in Council may appoint a person to act temporarily on his behalf. Such temporary appointment shall determine on the substantive holder giving notice to the President of resumption of the duties of his appointment.
