PART II - MAJLIS Authority in Religious Matters
Section 37. Authority of Majlis.
The Majlis, on behalf of and under the authority of His Highness the Sultan as Head of the Religion of the State, shall aid and advise His Highness on all matters relating to the religion of the State and Malay custom, and shall in all such matters be the chief authority in the State, save in so far as may be otherwise provided by this Enactment.
