Section 143. Food in Ramadan.
Whoever shall during the hours of daylight in the month of Ramadan purchase for immediate consumption, or sell to a person professing the Muslim Religion for immediate consumption, or consume, any food, drink or tobacco shall be guilty of an offence punishable with a fine not exceeding twenty-five dollars, or, in the case of a second or subsequent offence, not exceeding fifty dollars.
