Section 12. Determination of appointment.

Without prejudice to the provisions of sub-section (3) of section 10 and section 13 and section 14 the appointment of any Member of the Majlis shall determine-

(a) upon his death; or

(b) if he shall, by writing addresses to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong through the President, resign such appointment; or

(c) if he shall be absent from the State, without written permission from the President of behalf of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, for a period exceeding three months.
