PART III - RELIGIOUS COURTS-CONSTITUTION AND JURISDICTION
Section 55. Information.
(1) An information with a view to prosecution shall be made in writing or orally the presiding officer of the Court. If made orally, it shall reduced to writing by him. In either event, he shall require the informant to swear or affirm to the truth of such information.
(2) The Court may refuse to take any action on such information if not satisfied that there is reason to believe that an offence has been committed.
