PART X - GENERAL

Section 171. Repeal.

(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong may from time to time by Proclamation published in the Gazette, after consultation with the Governor in Council, repeal the Muslim and Hindu Endowments Ordinance in so far as it affects endowments given or to be given for the support of any Muslim pious, religious, charitable or beneficial purpose.

(2) The Muslims Ordinance, with the exception of Parts I and III thereof, is hereby repealed.

(3) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong may form time to time by Proclamation published in the Gazette, after consultation with the Governor in Council. amend or repeal any of the provisions of Part I and III of the Muslims Ordinance.

(4) No such repeal shall affect to the previous operation of the law repealed or anything duly done or suffered there under or any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred thereunder.
