PART VII - MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE
Section 114. Appeals.
(1) Any person aggrieved by any order, act, refusal or omission of a Registrar may within fourteen days from the date thereof appeal-
(a) if the Registrar be the Chief Kathi or a Kathi to the Appeal Committee, or
(b) in other cases, to the Kathi of the district in which the Registrar act as such, provided that from any decision of a Kathi given on such an appeal a further appeal shall lie to the Appeal Committee.
(2) The appellate authority may order the authority appealed from to do or refrain from doing any act which ought in the circumstances to have been done or omitted and make such other order as justice may require, including an order for rectification of any register maintained under this part of this Enactment.
(3) The decision of the Appeal Committee shall be final.
