PART II - MAJLIS-CONSTITUTION


Section 34. Appointment of Mufti.

(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong may, after consultation with the Majlis, appoint a fit and proper person to be Mufti of the State of Malacca. Notice pf such appointment shall be published in the Gazette.

(2) The Mufti shall be ex-officio a member of the Majlis.
