ADMINISTRATION OF MUSLIM LAW (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT, 1975

Section 4. Amendment of section 79.

Section 79 of the principal Enactment is hereby amended by adding the following new sub-section (4) immediately after sub-section (3) thereof:

"(4) Any person who acts as Pegawai Masjid without the approval of the Majlis shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to a fine not exceeding three hundred ringgit, or to both."
