Section 6. Amendment of section 62.
Section 62 of the principal Enactment is amended by substituting for the words "shall be guilty of an offence punishable with a fine not exceeding $50 or imprisonment not exceeding two weeks" the words "shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both" and by substituting for the words "not exceeding $150 or imprisonment not exceeding one month or both" the words "to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.".
