ENACTMENT NO. 8 OF 1995 ADMINISTRATION OF THE SYARIAH COURT (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1995
Section 4. Amendment of section 8.
Section 8 of the principal Enactment is amended-
(a) in subsection (1) by substituting for paragraph (b) the following paragraph:
"(b) the Syariah High Court;";
(b) in subsection (1) by substituting for paragraph (c) the following paragraph:
"(c) the Syariah Subordinate Court;";
(c) by deleting paragraph (d);
(d) by substituting for subsection (3) the following subsection:
"(3) The Syariah High Court shall have jurisdiction throughout the State and shall be presided over by the Judge of the Syariah High Court.";
(e) by substituting for subsection (4) the following subsection:
"(4) The Syariah Subordinate Court shall have jurisdiction throughout the State and shall be presided over by Judge of the Syariah Subordinate Court.";
