ADMINISTRATION OF THE SYARIAH COURT (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) ENACTMENT 1998

Section 4. Substitution of section 19.

The principal Enactment is amended by substituting for section 19 the following section:

"Advocate and solicitor.

19. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 18 (2), an advocate and solicitor who is a muslim and has passed the interview or test for the Certificate of Peguam Syarie prescribed under the rules made under this Enactment is qualified to be admitted as a Peguam Syarie under section 18 (1).".
