ENACTMENT A15 ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW (AMENDMENT) (NO.2) ENACTMENT 2007
Section 2. Amendment of section 13(b).
The Islamic Family Law Enactment 1991 which is referred to as the “principle Enactment” in this Enactment is amended by inserting after paragraph 13(b) the following paragraph:
“(c) provided that in the case where the wali has refused to give consent without any grounds recognized by Hukum Syarak, the Syariah Judge may, on being satisfied and thinks just, grant his consent if the inquiry has been adjourned twice.”.
