ADMINISTRATION OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM (PERAK) (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 2005.

Section 4. Amendment of section 41.

Section 41 of the principal Enactment is amended-

(a) in subsection (2), by substituting for the words “and section 37, except subsection 37(7), shall apply thereto” the words “prepared by the Fatwa Committee under subsection 37(3)”; and

(b) by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsections:

“(2A) The

Fatwa

Committee shall, through the

Mufti

, inform the Majlis of the

fatwa

proposed to be adopted and thereupon the

Fatwa

Committee may make a recommendation to Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan for His consent for the publication of the

fatwa

in the

Gazette

(2B) Subsections 37(5), (6), (8) and (9) shall apply to the

fatwa
