ENACTMENT NO. 8 OF 1986 KELANTAN COUNCIL OF ISLAMIC RELIGION AND MALAY CUSTOM (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1986
Section 4. Amendment of section 60.
Section 60 of the principal Enactment is amended by substituting for the words "be liable to a fine not exceeding $25 or with imprisonment not exceeding a week or both" the words "be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding three hundred ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month or to both" and by substituting for the words "be liable to a fine not less than $100 and not exceeding $250 or to an imprisonment not exceeding three months or both such fine and imprisonment" the words "be liable to a fine not less than five hundred ringgit and not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.".
