ENACTMENT A20 ADMINISTRATION OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 2008
Section 2. Amendment of section 55.
The Administration of the Religion of Islam Enactment 2006 [Enactment 4], which is referred to as the “principal Enactment” in this Enactment, is amended in the English language text in section 55—
(a) by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection:
“(3) The Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja Pemerintah, after consulting the Majlis, may by Notification in the Gazette constitute a Syariah Appeal Court for the State of Perlis.”; and
(b) by renumbering the existing subsection (3) as subsection (4).
