SYARIAH CRIMINAL CODE (FIRST AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1990

Section 2. Amendment of section 35.

Section 35 of the Syariah Criminal Code Enactment 1988 is amended:

(a)

by inserting immediately after the word "Repeal" in the marginal note of both the Malay and English texts the words "and savings";

(b)

by renumbering the Malay text as "35(1)" and inserting thereafter the following new sub-section (2) in Malay text:

"(2) Pemansuhan ini tidak menyentuh perjalanan Enakmen yang dimansuhkan terdahulu atau apa-apa perkara yang dilakukan atau tertanggung di bawah-nya atau apa-apa hak, keistimewaan, kewajipan atau liabiliti yang diperolehi, terakru atau berlaku di bawahnya".

Passed in the State Legislative Assembly this 13th day of December, 1990 corresponding to the 26th day of Jamadilawal, 1411.
