ENACTMENT NO. 2 OF 1960 ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1960
Section 32. Amendment of section 176.
Section 176 of the principal Enactment is hereby amended:
(a) by deleting the words "in Council" which appear in the first line thereof;
(b) by inserting a comma immediately after the word "may" which appear in the first line thereof and immediately thereafter the words and punctuation "on the advice of the Majlis and by notification in the Gazette,";
(c) by substituting the words "amend or repeal any of the provisions of sections 40 to 85 inclusive" for the words "declare that any of the provisions of section 40 to 85 inclusive of this Enactment shall cease to have effect" which appear in lines 3, 4 and 5 of paragraph (e) thereof.
