ENACTMENT NO 6 OF 1993 ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW (STATE OF PENANG) (AMENDMENT) ENCTMENT 1993
Section 5. Amendment of section 12
Section 12 of the principal Enactment is amended by inserting below the section, the following new proviso:
"Provided that a marriage which. has been solemnised contrary to the provisions of this Part but is otherwise valid according to Hukum Syara' may be registered on an order of court and subject to section 40 (2).".
