ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1992

Section 33. Amendment to section 127.

Section 127 of the principal Enactment is amended by-

(a) substituting for the words "order of maintenance" or "maintenance order" wherever used the word "order"; and

(b) substituting for the words "not exceeding one month for each month's maintenance remaining unpaid" the words "for a period not exceeding one month for each month remainining unpaid in the case of an order for monthly payment or not exceeding one year in the case of other payments.".
