ENACTMENT NO. 4 OF 1992 ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1992
Section 7. Amendment to section 21
Section 21 of the principal Enactment is amended by substituting subsection (1) thereof with the following:
"(1) No man shall, during the subsistance of a marriage, contract another marriage except with the prior certification in writting of a Kadi that he made a declaration before the Kadi that he shall be fair towards his wives, and if he so marries without such certification such marriage may only be registered under this Enactment on an order of Court subject to section 118.".
