ENACTMENT NO. 9 OF 1991 ADMINISTRATION OF THE SYARIAH COURT (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1991
Section 7. Amendment of section 11.
Section 11 of the principle Enactment is hereby amended as follows:
(a) by substituting a new subsection (1) as follows:
"(1) The Syariah Appeal Court shall consist of three members, one of whom shall be the Chairman among them, selected from a panel of at least seven Muslim persons appointed by the Yang diPertuan Agong and the appointment of the panel shall be notified in the Gazette."; and
(b) subsection (2) is amended by substituting the words "the Syariah High Court" for the words "the Court of Kadi Besar or the Court of District Kadi" appearing immediately after the words "dicision of" in line two.
