ADMINISTRATION OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS (TERENGGANU) (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 2012

Section 12. Amendment of section 56

Section 56 of the principal Enactment is amended–

(a) by deleting the words “or joint service”; and

(b) by inserting after the subsection (1a) the following subsection:

“(1B.) Syariah Enforcement Officer shall act under the general control and direction of Chief Syariah Enforcement Officer and may exercise all or any rights and powers vested in or exercisable by the Chief Syariah Enforcement Officer except rights and powers expressed to be exercisable by Chief Syariah Enforcement Officer personally”.
