Section 7. Amendment of section 9
Subsection 9(3) of the principal Enactment is amended by substituting for the words “is liable to a fine of one thousand ringgit” the words “shall on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both and shall also be liable to whipping”.
