ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1992

Section 23. Amendment to section 79.

Section 79 of the principal Enactment is amended by deleting the words "but shall revive upon dissolution of the marriage" in paragraph (a) and inserting at the end of that paragraph the following proviso:

"Provided that such custody affects the

maslahah

of the child and the right to

hadanah

revives upon dissolution of the marriage.".
