ENACTMENT A15 ADMINISTRATION OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM (PERAK) (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 2009
Section 2. Amendment of section 11
The Administration of the Religion of Islam (Perak) Enactment 2004 [Enactment No. 4 of 2004], which is referred to as the “principal Enactment” in this Enactment, is amended in section 11–
(a) in paragraph 11(1)(c) by substituting for the word “five” the word “six”;
(b) in subparagraph 11(1)(c)(iv) by deleting the word “and”;
(c) in subparagraph 11(1)(c)(v) by substituting for the words
“the Chief Registrar of the Syariah Appeal Court” the words
“the Chief Syariah Judge”;
(d) by inserting after subparagraph (v) the following subparagraph:
“(vi) the Director of the Islamic Religious Department of Perak; and”; and
(e) in paragraph 11(1)(d) by substituting for the word “fifteen” the word “twenty”.
