Section 9. Amendment of section 146

Section (1) of section 146 of the principal Enactment is mended by substituting for the words "one thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both" the words "five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both and to whipping of not more than six strokes".
