SYARIAH CRIMINAL PROCEDURE (FIRST AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1989

Section 2. Amendment of Section 2.

Section 2 of the Syariah Criminal Procedure Enactment 1988, which in this Enactment is referred to as "the principal Enactment" is amended:

(a)

by deleting the words "State Legal Adviser Kedah Darulaman" and substituting with the words "President of the Religious Affairs Department Kedah Darulaman according to section 11 (2) of the Administration of Muslim Law Enactment 1962" for the interpretation of the words "Pengarah Pendakwa".

Passed in the State Legislative Assembly this 30th day of July, 1989 corresponding to the 27th day of Zulhijah, 1409.
