ADMINISTRATION OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS (TERENGGANU) (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 2012

Section 4. Amendment of section 7

Section 7 of the principal Enactment is amended–

(a) by renumbering the existing section as subsection (1) of that section; and

(b) by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsection (2):

“ (2) In making and issuing any ruling on any matter relating to Malay custom, the Majlis shall have due regard to the Malay custom practised in the State, and shall refer the matter to the Fatwa Committee if the matter in any manner involves Hukum Syarak”.
