ENACTMENT NO. 2 OF 1960 ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW OF THE RELIGION OF ISLAM (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1960
Section 26. Amendment of section 122.
Section 122 of the principal Enactment is hereby amended:
(a) by substituting a colon for the full-stop immidiately after the word "resides" which appear in the last line of sub-section (i) thereof;
(b) by inserting the following new proviso to subsection (1) thereof:
"New proviso.
Provided that a Registrar having jurisdiction in such mukim may, on special grounds give permission for any such marriage to be solemnised elsewhere.",
