CONTROL AND RESTRICTION OF THE PROPAGATION OF NON-ISLAMIC RELIGIONS (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 2007

Section 4. Amendment of section 6

Subsection 6(2) of the principal Enactment is amended by substituting for the words “is liable to a fine of five thousand ringgit or imprisonment for six months or to both” the words “shall on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both and shall also be liable to whipping”.
