ISLAMIC FAMILY LAW (STATE OF PENANG) (AMENDMENT) ENCTMENT 1993

Section 37. Amendment of section 132

Section 132 of the principal Enactment is amended-

(a) by deleting the words "of maintenance" in line 2 and the word "maintenance" in the marginal note; and

(b) by substituting for the words "not exceeding one month for each month's maintenance remaining unpaid. "the words "for a period if the order is for monthly payment not exceeding one month for every monthly payment that is unpaid or for other payments not exceeding one year.".

Passed in the State Legislative Assembly on the 13th day of December 1993.
