ENACTMENT NO. 7 OF 1988 ADMINISTRATION OF MUSLIM LAW (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 1988
Section 2. Amendment of section 2.
Subsection (1) of section 2 of. the Administration of Muslim Law Enactment, 1959 [Enactment 1/59] (which in this Enactment is referred to as "the principal Enactment") is amended by inserting the definition of "gambling place" immediately after the definition of "the Fund":
' "gambling place" means any premises whether open or enclosed and includes a room, an office, or a stall, whether the public or any class of the members of the public has access thereto, used or kept for playing any game of chance or mixed skill and chance excluding private lottery and lotteries organised by the Social and Welfare Services Lotteries Board under the Social and Welfare Services Lotteries Board Act 1950-1962 [Act 252], whether lawful or otherwise, for money or money's worth;'.
