ADMINISTRATION OF RELIGION OF ISLAM (PERAK) (AMENDMENT) ENACTMENT 2012

Section 7. Amendment of section 70

Section 70 of the principal Enactment is amended by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsections:

“(1A)

Baitulmal

shall maintain separate accounts as follows:

(a)

Zakat Harta

and

Zakat Fitrah;

(b) Wakaf and

nazr ’am;

(c)

Sumber ’Am;

and

(d) Other trusts.

(1B) For the purposes of this section, the

Baitulmal Sumber ’Am

shall include the following matters:

(a) Contribution and gifts;

(b)

Fidyah

and

kaffarah;

(d) Estate of the deceased with no heir;

(e) Lost property

(luqatah);

(f) Any other source of Baitulmal according to this Enactment or

Hukum Syarak.”.
