Section 2 of the Criminal Procedure Enactment 1988 [Enactment No. 3/1989] (hereinafter shall be referred to as the "parent Enactment") is amended-
(a) by deleting and substituting for the word "and" immediately after the words "Islamic Family Law Enactment 1979" in the definition of "Criminal", a "comma",
(b) by substituting for a "semi-colon" at the end of the sentence in the definition of "Criminal", a "comma",
(c) by adding immediately after the words "Syariah Criminal Code Enactment 1988" in the definition of "Criminal" the words "Zakat Enactment 1374 (1955) and any Rules made thereunder",
(d) by inserting immediately after the definition of "Pegawai Masjid", the following new definition:
"Pegawai Penguatkuasa" means the religions enforcement officers appointed by the Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Kedah Darul Aman.'
(e) by deleting the whole word and definition of "Penyelia Agama", and
