Section 167. Fetua.
Whoever issues or purports to issue any fetua or ruling on any question of law or doctrine of the Religion of Islam or Malay customary law, other than the Majlis, the Mufti or whoever is authorized shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or with fine not exceeding two hundred and fifty dollars.
