Section 189. Now and by whom consent to prosecure may be applied for.

When consent to prosecute for the purpose of section 188 is required, the Prosecuting Officer shall submit his application to the Mufti by giving a brief report of the offence which can be proved together with whatever charges that he intends to frame.
