PART VIII - MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE
Section 97. Inspection of registers and extracts.
(1) The register of marriages and divorces under this Enactment shall be open to inspection by any person on an application being made in that behalf to the Registrar or officer having custody of the register.
(2) The Registrar or the said officer may on the payment of the prescribed fee issue to any persons a certified copy of an extract of any entry in the register.
(3) The register and any certified copies of any entry in the said register shall be prima facie evidence of the facts contained therein.
