PART II - THE MAJLIS UGAMA ISLAM NEGERI SABAH

Section 4. Establishment of the Majlis.

(1) There shall be a body to be known as the "Majlis Ugama Islam Negeri Sabah", to advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in matters relating to the religion of Islam.

(2) Upon the coming into force of this section, the "Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah" existing by virtue of section 3 of the Administration of Muslim Law Enactment 1977 shall be deemed to be the Majlis referred to in subsection (1).
