Section 131. Contempt of Religion.

Whoever orally or in writing insults or brings into contempt or attempts to insult or bring into contempt the Muslim Religion or the teaching of any lawfully authorised religious teacher or of any Fetua issued under this Enactment, shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars, or to both.
