PART IV - RELIGIOUS COURTS Procedure in Criminal Matters
Section 38. Sanction of Majlis.
No prosecution for any offence against sections 143, 144, 147, 148, or 153 of this Enactment shall be instituted save pursuance of a resolution of the Majlis sanctioning such prosecution, and a certified copy of such resolution shall be produced to the Court before any summons or warrant is issued. Such certified copy shall form part of the record at the trial.
