Section 10. Vesting of Property.

(1) All property, movable and immovable, of whatever description, which, immediately before the commencement of this Enactment, was vested in the Majlis Ugama Islam for its public purposes shall, on the commencement of this Enactment, and without any conveyance, assignment or transfer whatever, vest in the Majlis for the like title, estate or interest and on the like tenure as the same was vested or held immediately before the commencement of this Enactment.

(2) His Highness may, by Order, vest in the Majlis any property, movable or immovable, which immediately before the commencement of this Enactment was vested in any person or authority within the State for the purpose of the Muslim Religion, or on trust for religious or charitable pur­poses for the benefit of persons professing the Muslim Religion and, upon the coming into operation of any such order, the property to which such Order relates shall, with­out any conveyance assignment or transfer whatever, but as regards immovable property subject to and upon regis­tration, vest in the Majlis for the like title, estate or interest and on the like tenure as the same was vested or held immediately before the coming into operation of the Order.
