Section 48. Anak dara absconding from custody.
An anak dara or thayyib who without any reasonable excuse under Hukum Syarak absconds from the custody of her parents or legal guardian, shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both and the Court may make any order which is appropriate regarding such anak dara or thayyib.
