PART X - HOW PUNISHMENT IS CARRIED OUT
Section 55. Manner of amputation of hand and foot.
(1) The punishment of amputation of a hand shall mean an amputation of the hand at the wrist; that is the joint between the palm and the forearm.
(2) The punishment of amputation of a foot shall mean an amputation of the foot in the middle of the foot in such a way that the heel may still be usable for walking and standing.
