PART II - MAJLIS AGAMA ISLAM DAN ADAT MELAYU AND APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS

Section 23. Action in case of emergency.

(1) In any case of urgency, the President may, do or direct to be done on behalf of the Majlis any act or thing that may lawfully be done by resolution of the Majlis.

(2) If any act or thing is done pursuant to subsection (1), a meeting of the Majlis shall be held within seven days thereafter for the purpose of ratifying and confirming the act or thing done: and if the Majlis declines to ratify and confirm the act or thing done, the Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan may issue any direction with respect thereto as he thinks fit.
