Section 17. Friday prayers in unauthorized places.
Any person who convene or take part in the performance of Friday prayers at any place other than a mosque where Friday prayers may be held or a place approved for that purpose by the Majlis shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or Imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
