PART IX - OFFENCES

Section 149. Adultery with non-Muslims.

(1) Any male or female Muslim found having sexual intercourse with a woman or a man not being a Muslim shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding, thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.

(2) Any male or female Muslim found living together with a woman or a man not being a Muslim shall be presumed to have committed the offence of adultery under subsection (1).

(3) Any Muslim who abets the commission of the offence under this Section shall be liable to the same punishment as provided for under subsection (1).
