Meeting of the Majlis

Section 31. Secrecy.

(1) The proceedings of the Majlis shall be kept secret and no member or servant thereof shall disclose to any person, other than His Royal Highness the Sultan or any member of the Majlis any matter that has arisen in any meeting unless he is permitted or required to do so by the MajIis:

Provided that this subsection shall not apply to any matter which has been agreed to by His Royal Highness the Sultan.

(2) No member of the MajIis shall vote in any meeting of the Majlis until he has taken and signed the oath of acceptance of the appointment in accordance with the Third Schedule before His Royal Highness the Sultan or any person who has been given authority by His Royal Highness.
